JomSchedule is a WhatsApp assistant for your Google Calendar. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to remove it. We keep it minimal: the service only handles what it needs to read your calendar and reply to you on WhatsApp.
What we collect
- Your Google account email and name, and an access token to your Google Calendar (events, including titles, times, and attendees).
- Your WhatsApp phone number and the messages you send to the assistant, plus the replies and reminders we send back.
- Reminder and digest preferences you set.
How we use it
- To read and manage your calendar when you ask (e.g. "what's on today?", "add lunch tomorrow 1pm").
- To send you event reminders and a daily morning digest over WhatsApp.
- Your messages are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) to understand your request and draft a reply. We have turned off model training on our account, so your messages are not used to train Anthropic's or OpenAI's models. They process your message only to generate the reply and do not retain it for training.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, show ads, or share your calendar or messages with anyone other than the service providers needed to run JomSchedule (Google, Meta's WhatsApp, and the AI provider above).
Google user data
JomSchedule's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access your calendar to provide the scheduling features you request.
Retention & deletion
We keep recent messages only to give the assistant short-term context; older messages are automatically deleted.
We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete it, message the assistant or email us and we'll remove your account, calendar token, and message history. You can also revoke calendar access anytime from your Google account permissions.
